Located at a 3.5 hours drive away from Mumbai, Big Red Tent Kolad is a quiet & serene campground situated by the Kundalika river. With no mobile connectivity this location promises to help you to reconnect with yourself.

Check In: 4:00pm
Dinner:BBQ dinner will be served by 8:00pm and will be wrapped up by 11:00pm
Silent Hours:11:00pm – 7:00am are silent hours at the campground. You are not alone at the campground. A cohesive camping experience requires your consideration

Leave for Rafting: 8:00am so plan to finish breakfast and hit the road on time!
Lunch: 1:00pm
Check Out: 12:00pm if not you are not Rafting, 3:00pm if you are Rafting


You can always find your own trail around the campground. The hosts will also be happy to take you for a night trail after dinner which is a good refresher for us city slickers! There are other paid activities available at the campground

From Mumbai:
1. Approach the Bombay-Goa Highway (NH17) via Panvel
2. Pass Karnala Bird Sanctuary, Pen, Nagothane to reach Kolad
3. Turn left on to SH-60 (Murud-Pune Highway) and Travel 9 Kms up to milestone “109 Pune” and look for a board that says “Durtoli” in hindi. Turn left on this road.
4. Travel 4 Kms to Kamath Village
5. Turn right and Heavens within 1 Km.

From Pune:
1. From Pune via Chandni Chowk approach SH 60 (Pune Murud Highway)
2. Pass Mulshi Ghat, Tamhini Ghat-Ville. Here take fork going to Sutarwadi
3. Turn right at milestone “109 Pune” (Durtoli Phata)
4. Travel 4 Kms to Kamath Village
5. Turn right and reach within 1 Km
